The XD Mod.4 Optics Ready slide is cut for the Shield RMSc footprint. This pattern is compatible with many popular micro red dots, including the Shield RMSc, Sig Sauer Romeo Zero, and others. Adapter plates are available for other footprints.
Does this model include iron sights?
Yes, it comes equipped with a set of steel, low-profile three-dot sights. They are usable through the optic cut and provide a co-witness capability with many mounted red dot sights.
What is included in the box?
Springfield includes the pistol, one 11-round magazine, a cable lock, and a hard plastic case. A note from our staff: the pistol itself is excellent, but the factory case is a basic, flimsy plastic box. We recommend a dedicated pistol case for storage and transport.
